The 2026 Tucson Plug-In Hybrid is offered in two trims: the SEL and Limited trim package, both possessing an all-wheel drive platform. It is powered by a 1.6L four-cylinder engine with a turbocharger that produces 178 horsepower and 195 lb.-ft of torque which is mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. When combined with the electric motor, the maximum horsepower produced jumps to 268 with 271 lb.-ft of torque. Alongside this, the Tucson Plug-In Hybrid can travel 33 miles in the all-electric mode.
